Legislative bodies

Legislative bodies in Mexico consist of two chambers: the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. The Senate is comprised of 128 senators, two from each of the 32 states in Mexico, as well as 32 senators elected by proportional representation. The Chamber of Deputies is made up of 500 members, 300 of which are elected by single-member districts and 200 by proportional representation.
